About Abode Money
Abode Money is the first-ever AI financial home manager, using AI to save homeowners on property taxes, insurance, mortgage and more. Homeowners spend $2T+ per year on their home. Not only is it difficult to buy a home today, but it’s become just as challenging to continue owning your home. We’re going to be the first to create a relationship with 80M+ homeowners in the US by saving them money year after year.
We’ve raised $23M from Permanent Capital, Drive Capital, Sequoia, Core VC and The 81 Collection.
The Role
The CEO is running growth today. We're hiring a VP of Growth to take the whole org: acquisition, lifecycle, activation, and the engineers and designers who build against it.
Abode Money is the only company in the country that can offer property tax savings in all 50 states. It's the best wedge we've found for acquiring a homeowner: real money back in their pocket, every year. Paid channels and B2B partners are already bringing them in, and from there we layer on insurance, mortgage, and the rest of what makes owning a home expensive.
This is a product job as much as a growth job. Most of what moves the needle will be product-driven decisions, so you'll work day to day with our product engineers and the wider engineering team: writing the spec, sitting in the review, arguing about what ships next. You'll also be in the data yourself, forming your own view on which step in the funnel is worth the most.
What You’ll Do
The biggest thing we pride ourselves on is autonomy. You can’t move fast through committee decision-making, so we hire people who want to own workstreams outright.
Take ownership. This is yours. We build everything through single-threaded autonomy. One person owns the outcome, makes the calls, and sees it through. We believe in “asking for forgiveness, not permission” so you can make unencumbered decisions.
Move fast. Decide. Ship. Learn. Repeat. Speed is our edge. Perfection is the enemy of momentum. We will forever move faster than our competition.
Be resourceful. Find ways to do more with less. Constraints don’t slow us down. They make us inventive. There’s always a way through, and the people who own their work find it. “That’s not my job” isn’t a sentence anyone here finishes.
Think big and challenge convention. Dare to do things differently. You don’t change the world with incrementally better solutions. The systems we’re fixing are broken because everyone accepted them. We question the default, build the better answer, and refuse to blend in.
Measure everything. Data is the tiebreaker. We turn instincts into evidence, hunches into experiments, and opinions into numbers. If we can measure it, we can beat it.
Compensation
$140,000 - $175,000 base, plus equity

What You’ll Do
- Own the number. New customers, CAC, payback, conversion, retention. You set the targets and you own the outcome.
- Own the funnel. The ad, the landing page, signup, onboarding, lifecycle, the decision to renew. Every step of that is yours.
- Ship product. Most of the leverage here is product. You get engineers and designers in your org and a standing seat in the company roadmap.
- Find the next channel. A few things work today. You'll pick the next bets, put real budget behind them, and get to an answer fast.
- Run a national calendar. Appeal deadlines stagger across 50 states. Build demand that works every month of the year.
- Own the data layer. Every step measured, attribution you'd defend in a board meeting, one weekly read the whole company runs on.
- Build the team. Lead the pod you inherit, hire the rest, decide what stays in-house.
- You want to run something of your own eventually, or already have. This is a founder job wearing a growth title, and we hire for that on purpose.
- You've owned a growth number at a consumer business and hit it.
- You've shipped product to move a metric: written the spec, sat in the review, held your own with engineers on how the thing should work.
- You answer your own questions with SQL and the analytics stack. If you can actually build, that's an enormous advantage here.
- Consumer subscription, fintech, marketplace, commerce. Anywhere you've had to win a customer and then keep them.
