The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Partner Relations Manager to join our growing US Sales Team and take our company and platform to the next level!
What you'll be doing every day:
Serve as main point of contact for partner schools in assigned territories, establishing and supporting positive and fruitful relationships with newly established and existing school partners
Manage the contract renewal process with existing partners, aiming to increase collaboration/share of wallet and identifying opportunities to provide additional products and services
Develop recruitment and marketing strategies for partner schools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on promotional activities, including webinars, social media, events, and more
Leverage CRM to manage and track interactions with partner schools, establishing cadence of regular touch points and annual business reviews
Work closely with Sales and/or Sales Enablement to arrange opportunities for partner schools to connect with Recruitment Partners
Work with Sales and Customer Experience to forecast enrollments
Collaborate with Partner Development and Partner Client Managers to provide seamless handoff, onboarding, and support to newly established partner institutions
Serve internally as point of contact for commission related inquiries or updates regarding partner schools in assigned territories
Work internally with cross-functional teams to respond to school inquiries/requests, handle customer issues/complaints or escalations, and improve processes to provide excellent customer service to partner schools
Travel as needed (10-25%) to attend conferences, visit partners, and participate in other activities intended to brand ApplyBoard and grow partnerships in the US
Serve as advocate for US partners and the US market internally, tracking data and trends
What you bring to the table:
3+ years’ experience in education industry, with recruitment or admissions experience preferred
Prior experience within or supporting US higher education institutions (especially in international recruitment)
Passion for excellence, a sense of accountability, strong work-ethic, taking pride in a job well-done, and attention to detail are all must-have traits
Project management experience and/or training
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle objections
Successful track-record in prospecting, qualifying, and cold calling, as required.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, quick-changing environment
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
Ability to properly prioritizing tasks and take initiative
Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts
Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft productivity software
