about the role: we are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join our specialist claims team as part of our global operations.
This is a hands-on position within battleface and Robin Assist, requiring an experienced claims professional with strong technical expertise in travel and travel medical claims. You will handle complex cases directly, contribute to process improvements, and provide day-to-day guidance to colleagues. Working closely with underwriting, compliance, and operations, you will help deliver a claims journey that provides fair, fast, and transparent outcomes for customers, while meeting the highest standards of the Lloyd’s, UK, and EU insurance markets.
about you
- Extensive experience adjusting travel and travel medical insurance claims
- Strong understanding of FCA, Lloyd’s, and EU regulations, including fair claims handling standards
- Proven experience liaising with regulators, legal institutions, coverholders, and capacity providers
- Customer-first mindset: you believe claims should support, not hinder, the policyholder experience
- Comfortable working in a lean, tech-enabled environment, using data and innovation to streamline processes
- Natural mentor with the ability to support and guide team members
specifically, you will
- Handle and oversee complex international travel and medical claims, ensuring fair and timely outcomes
- Support process improvements and framework design in collaboration with compliance and underwriting teams
- Contribute to accurate reserving, MI, and reporting for internal, partner, and regulatory use
- Liaise with regulators, capacity providers, and legal institutions where required
- Use Robin Assist’s global platform to innovate and improve the customer claims journey

- Solid track record in travel and/or medical claims adjustment
- Technical expertise in reserving, reporting, and complex negotiations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with regulators and market stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal, and organisational skills
