about the role: we're looking for an Italian-speaking Travel Assistance Coordinator to help us deliver critical support to travelers worldwide. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about helping people during stressful or unexpected situations.

This role is designed for team players who embrace flexibility, innovation, and technology, and who enjoy working remotely. Because travel emergencies don’t follow a schedule, this is not a typical 9-to-5 role. Our assistance services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the team works rotating shifts to ensure travelers always have support when they need it.

what you’ll do

  • Provide real-time assistance and support to travelers around the world
  • Serve as the first point of contact for travelers experiencing emergencies
  • Identify issues and coordinate solutions before, during, and after travel
  • Manage emergency assistance cases, including medical and travel-related incidents
  • Coordinate services such as:
    • Medical provider referrals and communication
    • Emergency transportation and evacuation arrangements
    • Ongoing case monitoring and traveler support
  • Follow established protocols to ensure cases are handled accurately and efficiently
  • Work closely with medical advisors, underwriters, and claims teams to determine the best outcomes for travelers
  • Maintain clear documentation of actions, decisions, and next steps so cases can be seamlessly transferred between team members
  • Support the development and expansion of our global provider network
  • Contribute to improvements in processes, service delivery, and client onboarding

what you bring

  • Fluency in Italian, Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience working in a travel assistance, medical assistance, or insurance coordination role
  • Strong understanding of travel or insurance industry terminology and processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to stay calm and organized when handling urgent situations
  • A genuine passion for helping people
