As we expand, we’re seeking an Account Director who thrives on managing complex campaigns, building meaningful client relationships, and ensuring every campaign runs smoothly from start to finish.
The Role
As the Account Director, you’ll play a critical role in managing and executing our direct mail campaigns while serving as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams. You’ll oversee everything from discovery calls and campaign planning to post-delivery success reports, ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients. This is a unique opportunity to wear multiple hats in a fast-growing startup and directly influence customer success and company growth.
Responsibilities
Client Coordination
Serve as the primary contact for all client communications, from onboarding to campaign completion.
Conduct discovery calls to understand client goals, creative requirements, and campaign timelines.
Put together a detailed campaign brief ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Communicate internal lead times and manage client expectations effectively.
Campaign Management
Coordinate with our print vendors to obtain quotes and confirm timelines for production and tracking.
Track all campaign progress in organized spreadsheets, ensuring clear communication with clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and internal teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Manage the design brief process, ensuring clear communication with the design team and obtaining necessary approvals.
Operations & Strategy
Provide daily updates to internal marketing and operations channels to keep everyone informed.
Utilize project management tools to monitor campaign progress and ensure seamless execution.
Customer Success & Retention
Prepare post-delivery campaign reports, outlining targets, results, and insights.
Conduct weekly check-ins with clients to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities for ongoing campaigns.
Proactively address client concerns and ensure satisfaction throughout the campaign lifecycle.
What You Bring
Experience
3–5+ years in account management, client success, or project management, ideally with agency experience
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with direct mail, digital marketing, or audience targeting strategies
Skills
Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Slack, and CRM platforms (HubSpot experience is a plus)
