The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to design, build, and maintain the scalable backend infrastructure that powers our world-class cybersecurity platform. You will be a key contributor and technical leader on the engineering team, collaborating closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver impactful features.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your work directly contributes to protecting critical devices worldwide.
What You’ll Do

Design & Build: Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus).

Scale & Secure: Optimize performance, scalability, and security across distributed systems.

Data Expertise: Work with PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization, and migrations.

Collaborate: Partner with frontend engineers (Next.js), product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.

Lead & Mentor: Provide technical guidance and conduct thoughtful code reviews.

Automate & Integrate: Support CI/CD pipelines, implement automated testing, and integrate external APIs.

Innovate: Leverage AI tools (Cursor, Devin, GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity and code quality.

Grow: Stay on top of emerging technologies, contributing ideas that shape our technical direction.
What We’re Looking For

Experienced Java Engineer: Strong professional experience building backend services and APIs at scale.

Technical Depth: Knowledge of distributed systems, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and database performance tuning (PostgreSQL preferred).

Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Quality-First Mindset: Skilled in automated testing, CI/CD practices, and writing maintainable code.

Problem Solver: Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Collaborator: Comfortable working on a fully remote, fast-paced team.
