TL;DR: We’re looking for a Marketing Copywriter to help bring Hallow’s message to life across paid ads, social, and TV—writing high-performing scripts and creative that invite people into prayer.

What You'll Do

  • Own Ad Creative Copy (Paid, Social, TV): You’ll write scripts and copy for ads across channels—from paid social and UGC to influencer partnerships and TV commercials. Your work will help millions of people discover Hallow and take their first step into prayer.
  • Turn Performance into Creative: You’ll dig into ad performance—what’s working, what’s not—and turn those insights into better hooks, better scripts, and better storytelling. You know how to spot patterns and iterate quickly.
  • Write for Real People (and Real Voices): You’ll create scripts for a wide range of voices—from everyday users and UGC creators to influencers and celebrity partners. You’ll adapt tone and messaging while staying true to Hallow’s voice.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: You’ll work closely with Design, Content, and Partnerships teams to bring campaigns to life—from initial concept to final execution.
  • Test, Learn, Repeat: You’ll constantly test new hooks, formats, angles, and messaging. You’re excited by experimentation and motivated by seeing your ideas translate into real impact.

  • Comp: We will pay competitive market rates for this hourly, part-time contract position.


What We're Looking For

  • Passion: First and foremost, we’re looking for someone excited and passionate about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun to actually care about what you’re working on!
  • Experience: You have strong experience writing high-performing marketing copy, especially for paid ads, UGC, influencer content, or TV. You know how to hook attention and drive action. You must have specific examples of scripts, videos, commercials, or ads that you've worked on the past.
  • Performance Mindset: You don’t just write—you learn. You’re comfortable digging into performance data and using it to improve your work.
  • Creative Range: You can write for different formats, audiences, and voices—from short-form social hooks to longer storytelling scripts.
  • Speed + Hustle: You can move quickly, iterate often, and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: You care about the little things—word choice, tone, clarity—and hold a high bar for quality.

Compensation Range

$25-50 USD per hour dependent on experience
This position is a part-time, contract role with no additional benefits offered. The actual amounts could be anywhere within the stated range, dependent on experience.
