About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to drive our talent acquisition efforts across engineering, product, and operations. You’ll own the full-cycle recruiting process — sourcing, engaging, and closing top-tier candidates who are motivated to solve hard technical problems in autonomy, robotics, and defense.

This role requires a strong grasp of technical recruiting strategies, excellent candidate experience management, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers to anticipate needs and scale a world-class team.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, build job descriptions, and craft recruiting strategies.

  • Source, engage, and build pipelines of exceptional technical talent (software, hardware, systems, maritime engineering).

  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle: initial outreach, interviews, feedback, and closing.

  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience that reflects HavocAI’s mission and values.

  • Maintain structured processes in our ATS (Ashby) for tracking candidates, reporting, and compliance.

  • Build and nurture relationships with passive candidates and relevant industry networks.

  • Contribute to HavocAI’s employer branding efforts to attract talent from diverse backgrounds.

  • Provide market insights and data to guide headcount planning and recruiting strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience (in-house or agency), ideally in defense tech, aerospace, robotics, or related industries.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit across multiple disciplines (software, hardware, systems).

  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn, GitHub, networking, and creative approaches.

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and closing skills.

  • Experience working with modern ATS systems (Ashby preferred).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and mission-driven environment.

  • U.S. Citizen, eligible for security clearance preferred.
