Our openings span more than one career level. The provided salary depends on many factors, such as work experience and transferable skills, business needs and impact, and market demands.

About Us:

Collaborative autonomy is how self-tasking teams of machines will solve hard human problems, and HavocAI is an unquestioned leader in collaborative autonomy. We set the standard for autonomous surface vessels for a wide range of defense and commercial maritime missions. Success requires us to grow quickly, and we’re looking for teammates who are passionate about solving hard problems, about pushing the envelope, and about preventing conflict and saving lives. Ambition is welcome to apply within.

About the Role:

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and readiness of HavocAI’s production and operations workflows. This position manages all aspects of inventory tracking, storage, and logistics — maintaining control over materials and equipment that support our Production, Quality, and Mission Operations teams.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to ensure the right parts and systems are available when needed, while continuously improving processes that drive accountability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records across physical and digital systems (ERP / NetSuite).

  • Track materials, parts, and equipment through their full lifecycle — from receipt and storage to deployment and return.

  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and prevent shortages or overstocking.

  • Collaborate with Procurement and Quality to process material receipts, returns, and repairs (RMAs).

  • Support shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination, ensuring compliance with packaging, labeling, and transportation requirements.

  • Stage, prepare, and maintain equipment for production and field operations.

  • Identify process improvements to streamline material handling and recordkeeping.

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse or inventory environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or production operations.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and digital inventory management tools.

  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and materials handling in a technical or industrial environment.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a US Clearance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a regulated or defense-related industry (e.g., ISO 9001 compliance).

  • Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar quality frameworks.

  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical or hardware systems.

  • Experience with logistics planning or fleet management is a plus.

Benefits:

  • 100% Employer paid Health, Dental and Vision Insurance for you and your families

  • Ability to participate in the companies 401k program

  • Unlimited PTO policy with an enforced 2 week minimum

  • Equity Package

  • Work / Home Office Stipend

  • Global Entry Re-Imbursement

  • 16 Week Paid Parental Leave

  • Monthly Health and Wellness Stipend
