About the Role:
The Material Handler is a key contributor to HavocAI’s production and logistics operations. This role is responsible for the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials—ensuring every item is properly documented, organized, and delivered to the production line on schedule.
You’ll also support packaging and shipment of finished goods, helping maintain product integrity and meet customer delivery deadlines. This position is essential in keeping material flow efficient, production on track, and quality consistent across HavocAI’s mission-driven operations.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Receive and verify incoming materials, components, and supplies, including customer-provided items.
Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.
Log receipts into ERP or inventory systems for accurate tracking and traceability.
Store and organize materials safely and efficiently within designated areas.
Deliver materials to production per schedule and pull requests, supporting build plans.
Coordinate movement of materials between departments and maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment.
Prepare outbound shipments and documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace per company and compliance standards.
Identify opportunities to improve material handling and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or logistics roles.
Proficiency with inventory or ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
Ability to lift, move, and organize materials safely.
Experience with shipping, receiving, and documentation processes.
Familiarity with packaging, labeling, and freight preparation standards.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry tools).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with customer-supplied or serialized materials requiring traceability.
Forklift or material-handling equipment certification.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar Quality Management Systems.
Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of LEAN or 5S principles for warehouse organization.
