About the Role
We’re looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our team for a role to work remotely based in Canada. Reporting to Sr. Manager, FP&A, you’re going to be a part of a team that is the financial heartbeat of everything at KOHO.
The Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A will play a leading role in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to provide KOHO with key metrics and analysis to achieve growth targets. This is the role for you if you are interested in building an outstanding financial planning and management reporting function, developing and enhancing financial models, and becoming a trusted partner who brings financial insight to business decisions.

What You'll Do

  • You will own, develop and enhance the company financial model, and monitor KOHO’s overall financial health
  • You will play a vital role in KOHO’s annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working with teams across the company to shape the roadmap to ensure KOHO is meeting its financial goals
  • You will prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, ensuring that the executive team is well informed on all things related to financial performance and cash position of the company
  • You will partner with the FP&A team, Accounting, Data and business teams on month end close, continuously improving accuracy and efficiency of the process
  • You will dive deeply into financial and statistical data and become a subject matter expert for areas of the P&L, provide insights and recommendations to support decision making

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Finance, with emphasis on modeling, financial planning, and management reporting & analysis.
  • You have, or are pursuing a professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • A self-starter able to take on ownership and get work done effectively. Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and drive process improvements through to implementation.
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate findings/analysis and present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Highly advanced analytical and problem solving skills, including ability to synthesize financial data into relevant analyses with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
  • Database (SQL), VBA, or other programming knowledge is desirable.
