Your Role in Our Mission:

As a Product Lead, you will work closely with Normal’s founders and leadership to advance our company’s strategic goals by driving complex, cross-functional product development which ships to some of the free world’s most important institutions. This is a demanding and high visibility role that will offer you the opportunity to gain diverse operating experience in a fast-paced startup environment at the frontier of AI and chips, while driving critical initiatives that shape Normal’s growth and success.

The ideal candidate has a strong entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on business generalist experience, and is comfortable working under ambiguity. You will work on Normal’s highest impact and most pressing problems alongside our leadership, engineering, research, operations and got-to-market teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to understand how Normal can deliver value effectively, and at scale, at some of the most important institutions in the world

  • Build deep understanding of Normal’s end users through market research and top-down/bottoms-up ROI analysis

  • Partner to establish and manage our product development and deployment processes, including company-wide product management best practices and rituals to instill a culture of customer obsession, robust iteration and effective KPI tracking

  • ​​Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps that aligns with company goals and objectives

  • Own cross-functional collaboration across various teams and guide the prioritization of new features, considering feasibility, impact, cost, and time in decision making

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Product Manager role with direct interface to and facilitation of clients

  • Exceptional capability to build rapport with highly technical engineering and research teams and enterprise customers alike (VP level and above)

  • Strong business generalist skills to engage on GTM strategy and playbooks, and successfully drive enterprise-driven sales motion

  • Experience working in startups or deep tech high growth companies

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar field

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Meaningful experience working and building within the semiconductor industry, and developing hardware products or software for hardware products

  • Former startup founder or founding product lead with demonstrated track record of building customer-facing AI products through entire lifecycle from inception to business success

  • Hands-on experience with modern AI/ ML infrastructure, libraries and frameworks

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductors, Computer Science, Statistics or similar field, or Master of Science or Business Administration degrees
