Build the Path Forward

At Path Robotics, we work on state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and sensors to make industrial robots intelligent. Our transformative technology, like our robotic welding system, enables hardware to do more with less human input.
Our Bring Up Engineers work to seamlessly integrate our robots, sensors, and software into a cutting edge autonomous welding system. They're the link between Software Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Operations Manufacturing groups as we prepare our robotic weld cells for deployment. You will report to our Bring-Up Team Lead and will join a team of dedicated, supportive, and enthusiastic people to help create the future of manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

  • Configure and calibrate cell components to confirm our robotic welding cells are fully operational at Path’s manufacturing facility and the customer site
  • Identify software issues and implement fixes
  • Document system errors and submit Jira tickets for issues that require Software Engineering team support
  • Commision industrial control systems through I/O checks and PLC code (Allen-Bradley) debugging
  • Work with the Software Engineering team to continually improve speed and stability of the software releases
  • Update documentation of cell operation and bring-up task processes as needed
  • Train Operating Technicians on new operation processes as needed

Who You Are

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • You have experience in C++, Python, Bash, ROS, and Git version control
  • You have experience with the Linux environment and the command line interface
  • You have a track record of strong documentation skills and a passion to leave things better than you found them
  • You are able to travel up to 30% during peak installation periods at customer sites throughout North America (ability to acquire a passport is required)
  • You are excited to work on autonomous robotics systems
  • You have a knack for troubleshooting and analyzing problems
  • You are personable, adaptable and have strong communication skills
  • You are passionate about what you do and enjoy working in a collaborative environment
  • You like the idea of working at a tech startup with all the perks that go with that - free lunch, unlimited time off, team events, and great benefits
