The Event Manager is a client-facing role focused on helping our enterprise clients plan and execute successful events using Planned. You’ll guide clients from the moment an event is requested through to completion, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring they feel confident every step of the way.
**Please note, this role will service our west coast clients and work in that time zone (~12pm-8pm EST)
What You'll Do
- Own client events from start to finish, acting as industry expert in corporate events and meetings
- Review event briefs and help identify the best vendors or venues based on client needs and budget
- Confidently guide clients through decisions, offering recommendations and explaining options clearly and professionally
- Ensure a seamless experience and bridge gaps between the tech and the customer experience
- Coordinate event logistics, timelines, budgeting, and invoicing with support from internal tools and teammates
- Communicate with vendors and partners to keep everyone aligned and moving forward
- Stay calm and solutions-oriented when plans change, thinking on your feet and adapting quickly
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in client-facing roles (customer success, hospitality, events, sales, support, or similar)
- Ability to work in west coast hours (~12pm-8pm EST)
- Executive presence - you're confident, composed, and professional when interacting with clients at all levels
- Strong presentation skills (written and verbal) - you communicate clearly and persuasively and can offer recommendations with confidence
- Quick learner - you figure things out on your own and under pressure and are eager to learn new tools and processes
- Go-getter - you take initiative and don't wait to be asked
- Calm in chaos - you’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client requests at once; you thrive in fast-paced environments
- Experience planning events (corporate, school, personal, etc) is a strong bonus!
