THE JOB

Signal Advisors is seeking a Senior Planning Specialist to join our Planning team. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive planning support to our users. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the broader financial services industry, including annuities, life insurance, and managed money to meet our evolving departmental needs.

You will be responsible for delivering essential support to financial advisors as they work to provide insurance solutions to their clients. This includes day-to-day phone coverage, platform messaging, and request fulfillment.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  • Providing customized illustrations to financial advisors.
  • Guiding advisors through field underwriting questions.
  • Answering product-related questions and helping to provide thoughtful client solutions.
  • Curating the best possible annuity and life insurance product solutions based on advisor/producer details.
  • Guiding producers through the field underwriting process to ensure accurate expectations are set with applicants.
  • Developing relationships with holistic financial professionals, serving as a subject matter resource for life insurance and annuity products and how they contribute to the success of a broader financial plan.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential required, or be able and willing to obtain CFP mark within 12 months of hire.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial planning or paraplanning.
  • A high degree of familiarity with insurance products, including life insurance and annuities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The US base salary for this full-time position is determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
