The Role

SkyWatch is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Lead to architect and deliver the next generation of AI-enabled geospatial data solutions to our customers. This customer-facing role is responsible for translating our broad set of platform capabilities into high-value enterprise solutions that prioritize automation and scalable/secure implementation within Fortune 1000 enterprises. You will guide our largest customers in evolving their operations from manual data procurement toward integrated, automated workflows that provide high-frequency insights at scale.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role. You will be equally comfortable in a customer discovery call, a product strategy session, and a sprint review — owning outcomes across the full cycle from solution definition through delivery.

Forecasted Salary Range: Base - $150,000-$180,000/annum + Variable (10-15%)

Key Responsibilities

  • Workflow Automation Architecture: Identify and support opportunities to transition customer workflows from reactive data pulls to automated, trigger-based systems. Act as a strategic advisor, demonstrating how automation can augment traditional analysis to drive faster speed-to-insight.

  • Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Strategy: Define the standards for how SkyWatch data feeds are ingested directly into customer AI models and proprietary algorithmic applications, ensuring a seamless interface between our output and their automation layers.

  • Internal Systems Optimization: Act as a senior power user of our internal infrastructure, providing disciplined feedback to Product and Engineering on how our core systems must evolve to support the scale required for high-volume, automated data delivery.

  • Predictive Solution Design: Leverage platform telemetry and usage patterns to predictively identify customer needs, proposing automated solutions to potential friction points before they impact the client’s operations.

  • Solution Monetization & Pricing: Develop pricing models that reflect the value of automated intelligence and persistent delivery, moving beyond traditional per-user metrics to focus on the ROI of machine-ready, time-sensitive data.

  • Cross-Functional Technical Leadership: Lead the technical interface between Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure the enterprise "voice of the customer" is translated into repeatable, automated product features.

Core Expectations

  • AI-First Problem Solving: We prioritize finding AI-driven solutions to customer challenges. We don't just provide access to data; we provide the foundation for autonomous intelligence.

  • Technological Agility: Demonstrate a high capacity for learning and unlearning. You must be comfortable moving away from legacy geospatial methods in favor of AI-augmented processes that drive exponential efficiency.

  • Operational Discipline: Maintain a rigorous commitment to internal system usage and documentation, ensuring that every strategic win is built on a scalable, repeatable internal foundation.

  • "No Ego" Collaboration: Success is a team sport. You are expected to share insights across the "Crew" to ensure our collective intelligence grows alongside our technology.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Enterprise Architecture Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or product leadership within SaaS, DaaS, or Geospatial sectors.

  • Enterprise Customer Orientation: Ability to earn customer trust quickly and sustain long-term relationships through delivery and follow-through.

  • Technical Fluency: Ability to discuss frontend architecture and implementation constraints directly with engineering teams to ensure design intent survives implementation, while leveraging analytics tools like PostHog or Mixpanel to drive data-informed product decisions.

  • Automation & AI Familiarity: Proven understanding of how Earth Observation data is utilized within Machine Learning (ML) pipelines and Computer Vision (CV) workflows.

  • Delivery Capability: Proven track record of owning delivery — not just strategy — with accountability for on-time, on-spec outcomes.

  • Systems Thinking: Demonstrated ability to design "system-of-systems" solutions where data flows automatically between disparate platforms via API.

  • Complex Stakeholder Management: Experience navigating the technical and procurement hurdles of large, regulated, or asset-intensive enterprise organizations.

  • Pricing & Commercial Acumen: Extensive experience defining or influencing pricing and packaging for enterprise software or data products, complemented by a strong proficiency in building and validating commercial models that account for unit economics, scaling dynamics, and margin implications.

Communication & Influence: Exceptional communicator; capable of translating complex customer needs into clear requirements for product and engineering teams, articulating product logic to both executive and technical stakeholders, and driving alignment across Sales, Engineering, Product, and Finance
