About the Role:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Sparx, you will be instrumental in providing visuals around our actuarial and data science outputs of healthcare insights, helping our customers navigate risk in Value-Based Care. You will work with curated healthcare data feeds to create web app-native backend servers and front-end dashboards to enable seamless user experiences for our customers. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, healthcare, and financial technology, driving value and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analytical Dashboards: Design and implement dashboards that make use of automated pipelines for data science and actuarial models, enhancing the precision and efficiency of risk assessments and forecasting.
  

• System Architecture: Develop and maintain robust dashboard structures to efficiently structure insights on top of healthcare claims and clinical data feeds.
  

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with actuaries and data scientists to translate complex models, including MCPs and large language models, into scalable, production-ready software solutions.
  

• Performance Optimization: Write and refine backend code to improve speed, scalability, and reliability across our platform.
  

• CI/CD and Automation: Design and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines with a focus on automation, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  

• Develop User-Centric Platforms: Build intuitive, responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
  

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in data-intensive environments.
  

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (React, Node.js); experience with additional backend languages such as Go or Java is preferred.
  

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure acceptable).
  

• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, with attention to privacy and security best practices.
  

• Proficient in SQL, R, and Databricks, with a strong understanding of data manipulation techniques for high-performance analytics.
  

• Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset with a passion for innovation in healthcare technology.
