Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with the engineering team to support and improve the code base, specifically for scale.
You will work end to end in all areas of the code base. This includes supporting the server, building user-facing features in our web and mobile apps, and architecting the backend.
You will take the driver seat in digesting high level problems and breaking them down into executable tasks.
You will be quick to ship, while still considering where in the codebase that guardrails are important and necessary.
You will analyze, support, and propose decisions around frameworks and tools that will be advantageous to scale.

Qualifications

3-5 years of relevant experience building software.
These are the tools that we work with, so experience with them is fantastic, but not required: Python and Django; React and React Native; AWS; iOS and Android built with Expo; Third-party tooling, such as Twilio and Stripe.
Experience with any of the following is a plus: Working at a start-up; Scaling a product to support new markets; Building a two-sided marketplace or B2B model; Understanding the care industry, specifically childcare centers.
