Job Description
We're looking for a performance and growth marketing expert ready to skyrocket Thoughtful’s digital acquisition strategy. Your north star ⭐ will be to acquire new customers via paid and earned channels. This role requires strategic thinking, creative depth, execution chops, and the ability to rapidly run experiments until efficient channels are identified and exploited.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, with a proven track record of scaling a media budget from <$10k/month to six figures. To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring expertise, energy, and an unwavering desire to help Thoughtful unlock new levels of growth through paid marketing. You will be instrumental in helping Thoughtful achieve our mission to expedite the adoption of automation an AI.
In this role, you will:
- Create a comprehensive strategy to test, iterate, and scale digital channels
- Optimize and monitor campaign strategies across all digital channels including:
- Develop, own, execute, and evaluate paid search and social acquisition experiments on Google, LinkedIn, and any other viable channels
- Drive and manage stringent and rigorous creative testing
- Manage all social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and drive content creation as needed
- Drive SEO optimization for Thoughtful’s website
- Manage contractors that specialize in channel-specific campaign management
- Relentlessly report and optimize campaign performance while maintaining healthy unit economics
- Be able to decipher and understand the subjectivity of channel attribution and provide a point-of-view
- Clearly articulate your experimentation framework to leadership and make recommendations on areas to further invest or cut
We are looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience building and optimizing online acquisition strategies
- Built and scaled paid acquisition budgets from <$10k/month to six figures/month
- Deep understanding of running acquisition campaigns on LinkedIn, Google, Meta, TikTok and other paid channels
- A deep understanding of conversion funnels and optimizations
- A strong eye for effective ad creative
- Solid project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high-impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward.
- Experience being a self-starter. You will own going from 0 to 1 🚀
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where winning is expected
Essential Skills
