Areas of responsibility for this role include:

  • Disposition and debug of RMA returns from field
  • Lead all HW field failures/Debug and RCCA
  • Work with cross functional teams of engineers and to drive RCCA on HW failures
  • Create test plans, procedures, debug guides and validation reports. Own and execute Manufacturing HW failures analysis
  • Cross-functional leadership with HW Design engineers
  • Python based automation & Test Development a plus
  • Evaluate test results, identify trends, ensure adequate test coverage and system stability
  • Work directly with HW design engineers for escalation and RCCA
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing process

Requirements

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in software / hardware debugging & troubleshooting
  • 5+ years experience in test software development
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing files and documentation generation
  • Preferred: Experience in PCB layout and New Product Development
  • Preferred: Hands on experience with Engineering Change (EC) processes, BOM structures, and new product introduction processes
  • Preferred: Experience in system-level debugging on x86 or similar platforms
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing process
  • Detail oriented, reliable, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure with clear communication
  • 10+ years of Manufacturing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Flexibility working in a startup that’s continually punching above its weight
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively across time zones and countries, filter and prioritize high priority tasks, and escalate to management where appropriate
