Job Description:

VAST Data is seeking an experienced and dynamic OEM Alliance Manager to spearhead strategic partnerships with key OEM partners, including HPE and Supermicro. As the OEM Alliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving joint engagement between VAST Data and its OEM partners to maximize revenue and market share across APAC


  • Territory Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans to identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities within the assigned territory. This Includes analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Partnership Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key OEM partners, particularly HPE and Supermicro, to drive mutual business objectives. Act as the primary point of contact for partner engagement, ensuring alignment of strategies and initiatives.
  • Revenue Generation: Collaborate closely with internal sales teams and partner counterparts to develop and execute joint sales initiatives, programs, and campaigns. Drive revenue growth by leveraging partner resources, channels, and ecosystems effectively.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and engineering, to ensure alignment of product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement activities with OEM partners.
  • Enablement and Training: Provide ongoing training and enablement to both Internal sales teams and partner sales representatives on VAST Data solutions, value proposition, and differentiation. Ensure that partners are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively position and sell VAST Data's offerings.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of OEM partnerships and joint sales activities. Regularly track and report on progress against targets, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in alliance management, business development, or sales roles within the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in building and managing strategic partnerships with OEMs, preferably in the storage or data infrastructure space.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, storage technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
