VAST Data is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our growing team!

This position is based in Tel-Aviv and is reporting to the Director of Finance Operations.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading globally the procurement process aspects and business-related activities for VAST Data with its suppliers to optimize costs and savings.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Perform all procurement and contracting activities including due diligence, pre-qualification of suppliers, tender management, negotiation and closure of contracts to obtain optimal total cost of ownership (cost, service, quality).
  • Governance and Processes – own and support development of the Procurement structure in VAST Data.
  • Work closely with all VAST Data units to identify and map procurement needs. Collect the purchase needs from the vary units in the company, convert them to Purchase Orders with suppliers and act as the owner of the entire P2P process.
  • Develop expertise in the relevant procurement categories and work to implement the global category strategy, guidelines while driven the procurement KPI’s and reporting to management on activities and savings.
  • Develop and maintain expertise of respective global supply markets, competitors and product innovations.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
  • Lead the supplier selection processes and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA).
  • Own and conclude with legal department the relevant Procurement agreements.
  • Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential areas of improvement.

Requirements

What We’re Looking for

  • At least 5-8 years of procurement expertise, in complex, rapidly and hyper-growth Global International Tech Companies.
  • Ability to execute and achieve the procurement strategy while building strong relationship across functions within the company.
  • Experience in leading a small / medium contract process, preparing technical and commercial offers for various procurements and services.
  • Leading the day-to-day procurement operation activities globally, hands-on attitude, attention to details, flexibility to accommodate with different time zones and bias for action.
  • Handling domain topics with vendors, including managing the quality of deliverables, complaints etc.
  • Ability to work independently, self-learner and to adapt to a fast-growing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute multi-tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • A problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions proactively. Experience with executing automation projects and integrations to streamline the P2P process.
  • Experience working with NetSuite – an advantage.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, being a team member with higher level of professional integrity and service oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Must have the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels/functions throughout the company to deliver timely and high-quality work product.
