Description
VAST Data is seeking a dynamic and results-driven GSI Sales Manager for our Delhi region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, building relationships with key Global System Integrators (GSIs), and ensuring the successful adoption of our cutting-edge data infrastructure solutions. This role requires a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of the technology landscape, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting GSIs within the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at GSI partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sales objectives and deliverables.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Enhance GSI partner engagement through regular communication, joint marketing initiatives, and training sessions.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape to strategically position VAST Data offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in a technology or IT services environment, with at least 3 years focused on GSI partnerships.
- Experience of selling, enabling and managing global alliance India headquartered partners that have a strong presence in NCR. ( National Capital Region)
- Executive level and team level relationships with partners like HCL, Tech Mahindra and Wipro
- Awareness of the names partners organization structures, vision, GTM models and partner strategy and how to influence it.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of data storage solutions, cloud technologies, and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of the storage industry specifically: NFS, Object Storage and Enterprise Computing architectures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with partners and clients.
