Description

VAST Data is seeking a GSI Senior Sales Engineer in New Delhi to drive technical sales engagements and support our rapid growth in the Data storage market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data storage solutions and possess the ability to articulate the value of VAST Data's offerings to customers. This role requires a technical leader who can effectively collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Global Systems Integrators (GSI) to drive technical sales initiatives and foster relationships.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support during the sales process, ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of VAST Data's products and solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and partner organizations.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and product development teams to communicate feedback and requirements.
  • Lead customer proof-of-concept projects and validate solutions in real-world environments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position VAST Data's solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in data storage or cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of storage architectures, protocols, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in engaging with large enterprise customers and Global Systems Integrators.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical certifications in relevant technologies or platforms are a plus.
