Description
VAST Data is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Executive - Automotive l to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key automotive accounts, driving revenue growth, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty within the automotive sector. Your expertise will contribute to VAST Data's mission of transforming the data storage landscape for automotive applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for automotive clients to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the automotive industry.
- Identify customer needs and work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present business reviews and proposal presentations to senior management and clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align offerings with customer requirements and industry trends.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns and providing effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management or sales in the automotive sector.
- Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and delivering on sales targets.
- Strong understanding of automotive industry dynamics, trends, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data, generate insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment experience is key, a mix of large company and start-up experience.
- The ability to speak with customers and partners at both a business-level and technical-level
- Knowledge of the storage industry specifically: AI, NFS, Object Storage and Enterprise Computing architectures.
- Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.
- Proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
